Materia Life Bar was conceived as a spatial expression of the philosophy of the Materia brand and the vision of its founders. Rather than relying on overt branding, the space is designed as a calm, neutral canvas that directs attention to one essential moment — the ritual of preparing the drink.

Natural stone, dark timber and walls finished in a warm limewash tone create an atmosphere that encourages slowing down, presence and a sense of grounding. The only reflective element, a large mirror symbolising water, connects the observer with the preparation process, while a single spherical light fixture brings warmth and intimacy to the space.

Conceived from the outset as a synergy of different creative disciplines, the concept was further enriched by an artistic intervention by Dijana Trohar, which subtly extends the spatial narrative. Their artisanal interpretation of natural stone adds a final layer of authenticity and further reinforces the overall concept.

The result is an interior where wellbeing is not communicated through messages, but through atmosphere, materiality and the everyday ritual.
